Merch2 Welcomes Toto Its Client Roster

Merch2 is pleased to announce that TOTO has joined the Company roster.  Merch2 will represent the band for ecommerce, as well as retail and licensing, on a worldwide basis.

Formed in 1977 by drummer Jeff Porcaro, Keyboardists David Paich and Steve Porcaro, guitarist Steve Lukather, bassist David Hungate and singer Bobby Kimball, Toto are one of the few 70’s bands that have endured the changing trends and styles while continuing to remain relevant.  Individually and collectively the band’s family tree can be heard on countless Grammy Award winning albums across all genres. With every passing year, the band’s fan base continues to age down with more than half of the streams on Spotify emanating from those 34 years of age of younger. This growth is alongside continued successful touring in arenas across the globe.

Toto has celebrated one accomplishment after the next throughout 2024 in to 2025. The song “Africa” has been certified DIAMOND for sales of TEN MILLION copies by the RIAA in The United States. Current cumulative sales now exceed 10.5M. Additionally, “Hold The Line” has been certified triple platinum for sales of three million copies, while “Rosanna” hit the milestone of double platinum with sales of two million copies. The song “Africa” has now been streamed over two billion times at Spotify while “Hold The Line” has now reached the milestone of a BILLION streams on Spotify. Cumulative Toto album sales now exceed 50 MILLION copies, while the band’s repertoire is played approximately THREE MILLION times daily on Spotify alone.   Total streams now exceed 4 BILLION at Spotify, and 6 BILLION across all platforms. This Summer the band will headline a run of amphitheaters across the U.S. which follows standing room only tours of Europe, Australia, New Zealand and SE Asia which were staged earlier in 2025.

Merch2 is preparing a review of all available artwork from the band’s rich history and will create a fresh collection of products and licensing assets, along with working with all the stakeholders to identify and introduce special opportunities related to collectible media.  Both the retail/licensing and ecommerce programs will launch in Q3 2025 on a worldwide basis, including localized webstores in the North America, Europe and the APAC region.
